Aram Khachaturian: «A Concerto is an Alight a Lighted Chandelier» |

In the paper the author considers Aram Khachaturian Concerto-Rhapsody for piano and orchestra, the composer’s last work in the concerto genre. The approach of this study is determined by the brilliance of the concerto’s solo part. Toccata dance rhythmes and the piano’s colorful strokes are the leading factors in the development of this work. The paper provides some interesting Khachaturian’s statements observations of different over multiple years concerning the piano, pianism, instrumental concerto genre. Concerto-Rhapsody is a composition of the mature master. In the paper which the work is presented with both from the perspective of analyticsis and with the as well as performance points of view. In this work identified purely piano complexity and ensemble too The difficulties of the piano part and ensemble performance are exposed. These difficulties are associated connected with the updated stylistic innovations of the late Khachaturian (the characteristics image of the piano solo part). Analyzed The specific virtuosity and new criteria of expression are also considered. Khachaturian’s Concerto-Rhapsody for Piano and Orchestra Khachaturian – is one of the most amazing works in the genre of instrumental concerto of the the second half of the last 20th century.
