Music and Time Annotation << Back «Aesthetics» and Principles of Disease Nomination in the Circassians (Adyghes) Musical Picture of the World (Using the Example of Songs-Plots of Smallpox) A.V. Gucheva This article analyzes the semiotic language, the relationship of cultural symbols and codes in the songs-plots of smallpox in the image of the «aesthetics» of the disease, as well as the mythical principle of the nomination of «smallpox» and the personifi cation of the image of the lord of smallpox Ziuskhan. We have identified verbal (linguistic units), real (objective world of symbols), musical (structure, rhythm, intonation, etc.) and actional (magic-ritual action) codes of the smallpox song-conspiracy.
