Huseynova The article is devoted to the outstanding Azerbaijani singer Bulbul, the founder of a professional vocal school in Azerbaijan. He made a great invaluable contribution to Azerbaijani musical art. The article examines Bulbul’s creative activity both as a highly professional vocal performer and as a teacher who developed his performance methodology. Bulbul was constantly looking for new ways in art, striving forward and trying to improve. He was always attracted to European classical operas. He performed both the works of foreign authors and Azerbaijani music, combining the European style of performance with national elements.
