Sukhorukov The article formulates the main problems facing the researcher of the military conductor’s paralinguistics, among which is the need to identify the specifics of military conducting and its differences from symphonic conducting, the peculiarities of communication that arises between a military conductor and an orchestra when performing various performing tasks – providing musical accompaniment of a military ritual and concert performance of a musical work, characteristics of non-verbal communication means used by a military conductor, and identifying the conditionality of their choice by the ideological content and figurative structure of military music.
