Music and Time Annotation << Back Mythopoetics in the Music of Samara Composer Ilona Diagileva O.A. Krishtalyuk The article deals with the works of Samara composer Ilona Diagileva (b. 1975) through the prism of mythopoetics category. The author suggests the hypothesis that this category is manifested at different levels in many compositions of the composer, forming the unique individual style of the author and the entire work can be considered in the context of the neo-mythopoetic paradigm in the music art at the beginning of the 21st century. Figurative, semantic and structural features typical for the category of mythopoetics are identifi ed in the composer’s works of different genres (from cantata-oratorical to chamberinstrumental), which provides a fairly complete picture of the category. On the basis of the research the article concludes that the principles of mythopoetics realized in the music become the most important means for Ilona Diaghileva to create in her creative work the mythopoetic model of the world.
