Guseva The source of creativity cannot only be the classic three-function tone system, which today constitutes the basis of the academic subject of solfeggio in a music school. It is necessary to actively approach new means of musical expression. The basis for the practical development of the leading artistic means of modern music is playing music, the endless form of the realization of which is achieved by the interconnection of ostinato functioning melodic formations and the harmonic aura that is variably changing around them. Low-volume folk songs that are not related to the classic three-function tone system are best suited as melodic material. The choice of harmonic means can differ in a wide range – from polytonal fifths to chords of a nontherz structure. The most important methodological component of the updated content of the subject of solfeggio should be a systematic approach. It is necessary constantly, in any task, to take into account the interaction of all parameters of the musical language - melody, harmony, timbre, rhythm, meter, articulation, dynamics, tonality, harmony, texture. An active understanding of the relationship of all parameters can be carried out only in the context of the implementation of the intonation orientation of musical development.
