Semenova The scientific article reveals the importance of forming the orchestral consciousness of trained conductors, which consists in filling their internal culture, creative activity, and" building " a professional portrait as a whole. It is established that the orchestral consciousness of the conductor is a comprehensive determinant of his activity sphere. The characteristic features of the ideal model of orchestral consciousness of the conductor are defined – this is the consciousness of a leader, professional, master, artist, educator, which manifests itself: in the conscious necessity of an artistic act being performed; conviction in the correct choice of means of artistic expression; reflection of the creative "I"; deep understanding of all aspects related to the culture of sound production, sound science, sound removal; mastering intonation culture that provides a logical and semantic presentation of musical material, its emotional and sensual content. Attention is drawn to the fact that orchestral consciousness is found: in types of thinking that provide analysis of the movement of voices not only horizontally and vertically, at the level of external and internal hearing, but also in the course of text, subtext, supertext and context; high musical taste; broad Outlook, encyclopedic knowledge; meaningful art of interpretation; interests, needs, abilities, value orientations, worldview in General. It is emphasized that the initiation of associative thinking, master classes, colloquiums, and the expansion of concert practice are important factors in the formation of orchestral consciousness of trained conductors. In the depths of the orchestral consciousness, the performing concept, the art of interpretation, is born. It is concluded that orchestral consciousness is a thesaurus for forming a professional and creative portrait of a trained conductor and the orchestra team as a whole. It accumulates the paradigm of the orchestra’s musical and educational process.
