Music and Time Annotation << Back Bel Canto Development and Innovation in Modern Chinese Universities Wang Kexin This article analyzes the current challenges of Bel Canto teaching in Chinese colleges and universities and summarizes research by Chinese scholars on innovative strategies for Bel Canto teaching in Chinese colleges and universities. The article considers the methods of improving the quality of teaching vocals in the Bel Canto style, aimed at Chinese students, proposed by Chinese scientists. As an important part of a form of arts education, Chinese vocal music is also the concrete embodiment of musical art and culture in education. The takeaway is that teachers need to act according to the real situation and better design teaching models that are appropriate for Chinese students. So that Chinese students can strengthen their initiative in the learning process and combine theory with practice.
