Music and Time Annotation << Back Ismayil Hajibayov. "Three poems" for Soprano, two violins, viola and violoncello to the text of A.S. Pushkin M.V. Veliyev “Three poems” camera-vocal series of Ismayil Hajibayov composed to poems of Pushkin at the end of 70s is rare for its artistry and mastery. Moreover, the composer appealed to the poetry of genius Russian poet with interesting composition, therefore it rouses more interest. “Three poems...” preserves the emotional-artistic content of Pushkin poems with elegance of melody and harmony. Lyrical shades, effective sound of heart and love senses expressed with dramatic-emotional intonations are alternated with each other in three-part series. “Espressivo” remark of composer (especially part II) is not accidental. Discrepancy of characters creates individual identity in composer comment of interesting texts differed from rich heritage of Russian poet. These texts reveal aesthetic position of I.Hajibayov obviously and take noticeable place in his creative search.
