Music and Time Annotation << Back Musical Education and Development of Children in Belarus Through Choral Singing I.N. Lisouskaya In this article we are talking about children’s choral singing as an effective and publicly accessible form a musical and aesthetic education and development of the younger generation at the present stage. Despite the fact that the idea of general musical upbringing is in the past among the various types of collective music-making choral singing prevails because of its accessibility for most desirous. Based on an analysis of genre-style the amplitude repertoire of children’s choirs of the Republic of Belarus in the context of outlined tendencies her dynamic musical culture (the trend towards national spiritual revival, increasing religious and ethnic consciousness, entertainment, differentiation and individualization of musical tastes, etc.), the author notes ways profitable manifestations of vocal-choir potential children’s choirs, methods activation of creative thinking of learners, increase their motivation for music lessons.
