Music and Time Annotation << Back Features of Formation and Orchestration of Symphonic Kui Composers of Kazakhstan A.K. Abdinurov The article is devoted to the complex research peculiarities of formation and orchestration of symphonic kui in the works of Kazakh composers. The basis of the new symphonic genre became traditional instrumental kui, which, along with samples of folk songs is largely based in the creativity of composers of Kazakhstan. Symphonic kui first appears in the works of one of the most prominent representatives of modern Kazakh composers’ school – Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev (1932–2013). In the works of the composer to be innovative attitude to the traditions of folk instrumental music. According to the author, forming, as well as orchestral-sounding timbre, it is an integral part of a symphonic work.
