The article summarizes and briefly analyzes the main meanings and values, represented in chamber-vocal works of Sergei Rachmaninoff. Support on rich musical and research material allowed to the author to draw conclusion that romances of Rachmaninoff are the original creative laboratory of composer, where is realized the deep, original, having the brightly expressed national colouring, creative embodiment «large in small», which is concentrated in the musically-poetic lexemes of Love, Nature, God and Man. These semantic dominants which presented in romances of Rachmaninov as formation in the actual musical, philosophical and biographical meanings, manifest the importance of moral, aesthetic and religious elements in the integration of personal, national and universal spiritual priorities, so as to not lose faith and hope for the future of man, Russia, all over the world.
