Music and Time Annotation << Back The Interpretation of Expressive Means of Harp by French Composers of the Late 19th Century and the Early 20th Century A.A. Makarova The article is devoted to the figurative and stylistic sources of music for harp (solo, chamber, symphonic) of French composers in the second half of XIX – early XX centuries. The one can see relationships with general aesthetic trends to the period. It develops the idea of the interpretation harp’s part in the context of its ancient origin, it suggests a perspective for following research of the idea of entering of specific means harp’s expression in the music for other instruments, as defined artistic trend of the reporting époque.
