Music and Time Annotation << Back Choral work of C. Cui: Cantata for the 300th Anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty Yu.N. Lavrikova In an article dedicated to Сui’s Cantata for the 300th Anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty, one raises issues of creation and performance of a little-known work of the author. C. Cui is the author of considerable number of choral works, among them: a cappella choirs, choirs with accompaniment, vocal quartets, spiritual works and opera choirs. All this musical material deserves careful research, as it has not lost its artistic significance. Blend into different genres of the choral compositions of Сui, this piece has its own specifics, extends and complements our knowledge about of the musical heritage of the famous Russian composer.
