Three Sonatas for Klavichembalo by «Signor Ber»:
to the Problem of Authorship Attribution |

In this article it is made an attempt to determine the most probable author of three sonatas for klavichembalo, which was recently discovered in one of the Polish archives. The manuscript is kept in the zartoryski Library” fund, located in the Krakow National Museum. On the title page of the manuscript indicates that the author of the works is «Signor Ber». But in addition, all compositions from the manuscript on different sources got other versions connected with their authorship. Paid respect to all the hypotheses, analyzed the works in the chosen foreshortening by founded algorithm of the work, received other manuscripts in hich some sonatas from Krakow manuscript are duplicated, we were able to determine the manuscript as a some convolute, in which different parts of the compositions by different composers (M. Berezovsky, J. Colizzi and J. Wanhal) were «stitched».
