Music and Time Annotation << Back The Inner Form of Music in Sounds Interior T. Bibikova The article is devoted to the problem of organization of a piece of music. Its external acoustic form is composed of discrete elements each of which highlights in one`s mind a special mood of quality that is being gradually deepened and defined more exactly. The perception that is endowed with a creative ability unites the colorful «fragments» of qualities creating an uninterrupted dynamic process. It is characterized by the quantitative and qualitative indicators that are continuously changing. The transformations of the acoustic substance arrange the contour of musical experience in the internal field. This contour is simultaneously multi-channel and wavelike, and the inner form – the bearer of the sense – is developing its potentialities in it. The energy of the inner form penetrates through each acoustic element interrupting neither on pauses nor on caesurae. It is the internal structure of the form`s arrangement and connections that is significant for the recognition of an ideal sense contained in the internal form, but not the filling with any worldly content. The unity of the activities of processing of the perceptible information and the form highlighted by them ensures the integrity of the musical experience.
